Location Address:Summary:Presbyterian Medical Group is seeking a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our colorectal surgery team in Albuquerque, NM.
Job Description:- Prior surgical and first assist experience preferred but not required, early career providers are welcome to apply
- Weekly mix of clinic and OR time
- Opportunity and expectation for training
- Hospital rounding including some weekend days and inpatient consults to be expected.
- Average of 10-12 patients per day in clinic
Additional Job Description:The minimum requirements are as follows:
For Nurse Practitioner - Masters degree in Nursing, New Mexico Nurse Practitioner license, federal and state DEA license and ANCC certification required. Minimum of one year experience preferred but not required
For Physician Assistant - Baccalaureate prepared CAHEA Certified Physician Assistant or two (2) years working experience as a Certified Physician Assistant, and licensed by the New Mexico Board of Medical Examiners required. Minimum of one year experience preferred but not required.
