Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in Hawaii.
• Strong clinical judgment and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications; PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for diverse surgical cases including general surgery, orthopedics, and OB/GYN.
• Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care.
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-ups, focusing on pain management.
• Supervise and collaborate with CRNAs and other anesthesia team members.
• Engage in perioperative planning and contribute to safety initiatives.
• Respond to emergency airway management and medical codes as required.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system.
