As a Principal or Senior Principal at Slalom, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including cloud architects, engineering leads, finance stakeholders, and client executives to drive innovation, financial accountability, and cost optimization across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments. You'll also work closely with AWS partners and play an integral role in shaping the direction and impact of Slalom's AWS GenAI Innovation Center.

What You'll Do
  • Partner with cloud providers and ecosystem collaborators to identify and co-develop Generative AI opportunities and customer engagements
  • Facilitate GenAI workshops to uncover business use cases, educate stakeholders, and scope solutions that drive meaningful value
  • Lead large, complex sales opportunities from vision through delivery, aligning AWS capabilities with client goals
  • Communicate GenAI capabilities and business outcomes effectively to a range of audiences, from technical teams to executive leaders
  • Develop roadmaps and scalable implementation strategies for GenAI and ML initiatives across industries and organization sizes
  • Apply technical expertise in ML, big data, and AI to bridge business needs with feasible solutions
  • Launch and oversee technically complex programs, ensuring alignment, delivery excellence, and governance
  • Strengthen AWS partner relationships through co-innovation, knowledge sharing, and go-to-market collaboration
  • Contribute to the evolution of the GenAI Innovation Center by shaping best practices, playbooks, and customer frameworks
  • Identify business value, ROI potential, and risk mitigation strategies to support sustainable GenAI adoption

What You'll Bring
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for educating others and advancing innovation with emerging technologies
  • 5+ years of experience as a machine learning practitioner, strategist, or technical leader in industry or consulting
  • Proven communication skills and the ability to engage diverse stakeholders, including executive audiences
  • Experience guiding sales and solution lifecycles, and leading complex technical program delivery
  • Background in management consulting or environments focused on digital transformation and innovation

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is $133,000 to $206,000 for the Principal level and $153,000 to $237,000 for the Senior Principal level. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend on individual skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
