Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in the 4th year of a Ryerson Undergraduate Program.
  • Maintain an overall academic performance of B+ (3.3 GPA) or higher.
  • Achieved B+ (3.3 GPA) or above in specific completed courses.
  • Prior evaluation as an Assistant at the University, if applicable.
  • Successfully completed GCM 840 and/or GCM 461.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare class materials, including written and audio-visual content.
  • Hold office hours for student consultations.
  • Consult with students, including via electronic communication.
  • Assist in grading tests, lab assignments, essays, and term papers.
  • Confer with the Supervising Instructor regularly.
  • Attend mandatory training provided by the school and employer workshops.

Responsibilities

Preparation for classes; preparation of written or audio-visual materials,
Holding office hours,

Conferring with the Supervising Instructor; attending mandatory training provided by the school,
Attending employer orientation workshops; attending mandatory employer training

Qualifications

Enrolled in: 4th year of Ryerson Undergraduate Program.
Overall academic performance at B+ (3.3 GPA) or above.
Must have completed course with B+ (3.3 GPA) or above grade level.
Previous evaluation of performance as an Assistant at the University (if applicable).

Relevant Experience: Successfully completed GCM 840 and/or GCM 461

Salary & Compensation

September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026
Academic Assistants Undergrad - $39.57 per hour
