Full Job Description

We're seeking someone to join our AFRM/COO team as a Director in GCC Management to help develop and drive agendas in line with the goal of the organization, liaise with business management and drive activities related to Accounting Firm Relationship Management (AFRM). The individual must be comfortable to step into an evolving organization, be a strategic partner and execute within tight timelines.

In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis and advisory services of the Firm's financial and capital resources. This is a Director level position within the Finance Business Management job family which performs business management/CAO functions including headcount management, financials, people processes, executive communications, strategic support, divisional governance, regulatory support etc. Includes regional, location and department management and oversight.


What you'll do
- Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm
- Responsible for and lead a significant set of deliverables, leveraging advanced understanding of Finance functional area, product and/or client segment
- Proactively identify emerging risks in individual and department work and contribute to strategies for mitigating them
- Act as a role model and culture carrier; Embody and set an example of the Firm's values and hold yourself and others accountable to Firm standards
- Manage Deloitte & EY Audit relationship
- Assist with Contract reviews and oversight including daily reporting to the Deputy CFO
- Assist with Independence reviews, control and oversight
- Liaise with Deloitte/EY to resolve ongoing engagement related open issues
- Key Point of contact across the firm globally for Deloitte & EY inquires.
- Funding Request Creation, Approval & Reporting
- Audit Accruals & Core Audit allocation maintenance
- Deloitte/EY Invoice reviews & approvals
- Assist with the quarterly preparation of the Audit Committee deck.
- Assist with annual firm risk and assessment surveys
- Manage Deloitte entitlements
- Assist in GCC Space Management & Planning
- Assist with GCC related to People Initiatives (Open Forums, Team Building, Charity, Communication)
- Work closely with the team in understanding the organization's policies and objectives and work towards achieving organizational goals
- Assist with day-to-day activities related to Budgeting, Forecasting, Reporting and Allocations
- Other special projects

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $90,000 and $155,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
