Summary of Performance Expectations.
Promotes a professional patient-centered practice image while performing history, physical examinations, diagnoses, and therapeutic treatment regimens as required. Interprets lab results under the supervision and directions of a practicing physician. Utilizes a team based approach to all tasks.
Education and Credentials:
Required
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Current NC license. NCCPA Certified. ACLS and PALS or BCLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required within three months of employment date.
Preferred
Work Experience:
Required
No previous experience required. Given training and on-the-job experience incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job within three months of employment date.
Preferred
Two years experience in family practice medicine.
