SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

CERTIFICATE LICENSE:

Meet Maryland certification requirements for Administrator II or elementary, secondary, or principal/supervisor.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:

Knowledge, and understanding of the purpose of the three employee Professional Growth Systems (PGS) established for the Montgomery County Association of Administrators and Principals and the Montgomery County Business and Operations Administrators (MCAAP/MCBOA), Montgomery County Education Association Professional Growth System (MCEA) and the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 500.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, and EXPERIENCE:

Master's degree from an accredited college or university with an emphasis in supervision, educational administration and secondary or elementary school curriculum. Doctorate desirable. Minimum of 5 years in teaching, administration or supervision of which at least 3 years must have been teaching in an elementary or secondary school classroom and supervising.
