Qualifications

• Bachelors degree with at least 10 years of related experience; 14 years of experience may substitute for degree.
• Demonstrated expertise in military concept development or strategic planning.
• Strong research and analytical skills for synthesizing complex information.
• Familiarity with research tools and software for concept support.
• Deep understanding of military strategies and geopolitical contexts.
• Experience with a 4-star staff environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research on military strategies and emerging trends for concept development.
• Analyze complex data to create effective military concepts aligned with USINDOPACOM's mission.
• Produce high-quality written materials including concept papers and presentations.
• Review and edit materials for accuracy and clarity, incorporating feedback for improvement.
• Engage with leaders and stakeholders to gather needs and present concepts persuasively.
