Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Joint Fires Training & Assessment SME to join our team! In this role you will get to serve as the team's training and assessment SME, developing IJFC training documentation and curriculum, planning and assessing joint exercises, and harvesting lessons learned into SOPs, TTPs, and process improvements

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Develop training documentation, curriculum, and packages for IJFC and joint fires personnel.
  • Plan, observe, and capture joint exercises and experimentation events; develop after-action reviews (AARs) and harvest lessons learned.
  • Translate observations and lessons into SOPs, TTPs, and process improvements for the IJFC.
  • Apply the joint operational planning process (JOPP) to support planning products, CONOPs, and battle-rhythm design.
  • Maintain knowledge management for the team's products and lessons-learned repository.
  • Occasionaltravel to Stuttgart Germany (USEUCOM)

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years developing training, curriculum, or assessment products in a joint or operational environment.
  • Demonstrated experience planning, observing, or assessing joint exercises and producing AARs and lessons learned.
  • Working knowledge of the joint operational planning process (JOPP).
  • Strong technical writing, instructional, and knowledge management skills.
  • U.S. citizen.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Instructional design or curriculum development background.
  • Experience at a combatant command or joint exercise enterprise.
  • Familiarity with JFN, IJFC, and joint fires constructs.
  • Familiarity with Maven Smart System (MSS) and its associated tool suites.

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.

This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.

Salary Range: $112,200.00 - $196,400.00
