Full Job Description
Ready to bring your classroom knowledge into the boardroom? Citi is looking for Full-Time Analysts to join our Enterprise Services and Public Affairs (ESPA) team in New York, NY. We believe success is built on continuous growth, and our programs are designed to equip you with the skills, training, and professional network needed to launch a long-term career. Citi offers significant opportunities for career growth and internal mobility.

Citi's ESPA function plays a key role for the firm, working to enhance how our stakeholders perceive and experience Citi. ESPA has two core objectives: managing our reputation by engaging with our stakeholders and delivering great spaces and services to colleagues and clients. The ESPA teams supporting these objectives include:
  • Aviation
  • Colleague & Client Services
  • Community Investing & Development
  • Communications
  • Enterprise In-Business Reputation Risk Management
  • ESPA Chief Administrative Office
  • ESG & Sustainability
  • Government Affairs
  • Real Estate Services

To ensure you can make an immediate impact, all ESPA Analysts participate in a comprehensive training program at the onset of the program. Your journey begins with a global Citi orientation, followed by intensive technical and professional skills training-including presentation, communication, and leadership development. This foundational training prepares you to contribute meaningfully from day one of your first rotation. The program will also provide Analysts with on-the-job training in their rotation placement.

The ESPA program consists of two one-year rotations designed to provide both depth and breadth of experience. Depending on business needs and alignment with career interests, Analysts may have the opportunity to rotate within the same ESPA team for a more focused career path. After completion of the 24-month program, Analysts may be considered for permanent placement within ESPA. Rotations are designed to sharpen your skill set, enhance your analytical abilities, deepen your functional knowledge, and build your professional network and leadership capabilities. This process prepares you for future leadership opportunities at Citi. A successful tenure in the rotational program is a foundational step toward a rewarding career at the firm.

Key aspects of the program include:
  • Targeted Placements: Analysts are placed in a specific role within one of our ESPA teams, with a primary focus on Communications and Real Estate Services.

  • Value-Driven Work: Working closely with management teams, Analysts will have the opportunity to add tangible value to Citi through various responsibilities such as media and reputation monitoring, content development, research and analysis, and project management.

  • Accelerated Growth: The core goal of the rotational program is to expand your skills, deepen your understanding of the organization, and grow your professional network.

We want to hear from you if...

  • You have a genuine interest in the ESPA teams and are eager to learn and explore.

  • You are pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, Public Affairs, Political Science, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field and will graduate between December 2026 and June 2027.

  • You have a strong academic record, with a preferred GPA of 3.3 or higher.

  • You are legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application; Citi will not sponsor visa applications for this position.

Who we think will be a great fit...

We are looking for motivated, naturally curious, business-minded individuals who are eager to launch their careers. If you excel at problem-solving and enjoy brainstorming creative solutions, Citi is the perfect place for you.

We are also looking for the following qualities:

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact and influence across all organizational levels.

  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex data and information into clear compelling communications.
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy and effective time management.
  • Advanced MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
