Job Description:

Faculty Marketing has become a critical component of nurturing and converting applicants through the admission process to a registered student. The role of the Faculty Marketer is to research, conceive, design, implement and track faculty, cluster and program specific marketing initiatives to increase enrolment numbers and ensure 7program fit7, leading to increased retention. Subject matter expertise as well as key relationships with faculty and administration assist to leverage methodologies, tactics and implementation strategies with the support of Marketing Department resources.

Increased enrolment and right fit are attained through engaging and nurturing prospects and applicants from their initial exploration to their identified program(s) of interest, through to registration. Once overall strategy is determined tactics can include but are not limited to email or calling campaigns, digital and social media advertising, videos, collateral creation, web development and events. Goals range from awareness of the breadth of programs and overall college offerings to alleviating obstacles for applicants, and exploring program fit.

As part of the Marketing Department, the incumbent works for a faculty client (Dean, Chairs, coordinators, internal stakeholders) and manages all aspects of the development and implementation of the tactics identified within the clients Faculty Marketing Plan. The incumbent leads a project team on marketing deliverables supporting the Faculty client.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum three (3) year College Diploma/Degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or Advertising;Equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience may be accepted in place of formal education.

  • Minimum five (5) years of experience with results-driven marketing and sales including experience with:

  • In-depth knowledge of web, digital and print production and graphic design best practices;

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work within tight timelines;

  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize and simultaneously co-ordinate a variety of unrelated activities;

  • Familiarity with campaign tracking and measurement tools;

  • Experience working and collaborating in a team environment;

  • Superior written and oral communication skills with the ability to create and deliver presentations;

  • Self-motivated with strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills;

  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders;

  • Advanced proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

This position is eligible for hybrid work in conjunction with the College's Flexible Work Arrangement Policy. (subject to change).
