About the roleFarm & Forge is seeking a talented Full Stack Web Application Developer with strong front-end and user interface expertise to help build a suite of new web and mobile applications.
As the second hire within a newly formed software development division, this role will have significant influence on architecture, development standards, and product direction from the ground up. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys building in a fast-moving, collaborative environment where ideas can quickly turn into production-ready tools.
This position is ideal for a developer who enjoys both technical problem solving and creating thoughtful user experiences.
What you'll do- Partner in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and task estimation
- Collaborate on application architecture and technical decision-making
- Participate in greenfield development of new web and mobile applications
- Develop responsive, scalable, and maintainable front-end and back-end solutions
- Build intuitive and high-quality user interfaces and workflows
- Write unit tests and integration tests
- Participate in code reviews and collaborative development discussions
- Utilize AI development tools appropriately to improve productivity and efficiency
- Support ongoing application improvements, troubleshooting, and optimization
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to understand operational and user needs
QualificationsRequired- Minimum of 3 years of experience in full stack web application development
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript
- Strong experience developing user interfaces and front-end application architecture
- Experience with testing automation and quality assurance practices
- Experience working within Agile and Scrum development environments
- Experience with one or more server-side languages such as Java, Ruby, C#, or similar
- Experience with one or more web application frameworks such as Spring Boot, Rails, .NET MVC, or similar
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and evolving environment
Preferred- Mobile application development experience
- UI/UX design and wireframing experience
- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD tools
- Experience building cross-platform applications across web and mobile
- DevOps and deployment experience
- Experience working in startup or early-stage product environments
