Standard Job DescriptionSupply Chain Intelligence - Full Stack EngineerPosition OverviewThis individual combines deep frontend expertise with strategic product ownership to design, build, and deploy the user facing "apparatus" that surfaces AI-generated insights to supply chain users. In addition to hands-on development, you will make key architectural decisions, mentor junior developers, and partner with AI and AIOps engineers to deliver end-to-end, production-grade solutions that meet Lockheed Martin's performance, security, and usability standards.
Key Responsibilities You will lead the end to end UI/UX delivery for supply chain intelligence portals, dashboards, chat assistant widgets, and workflow tools that consume generative AI outputs. You will define and enforce frontend standards for framework selection, component libraries, accessibility, and responsive design that become the team's reference architecture. You will collaborate on API contracts with AI Engineers, translating model endpoints into clean versioned REST or GraphQL services and ensuring consistent error handling and latency targets. You will package and ship complete solutions by creating Docker OCI images, Helm charts, or serverless bundles that the AIOps Engineer can deploy to production environments. You will own quality gates including unit and integration test coverage, CI pipelines, static analysis tooling, and automated UI testing. You will mentor and coach junior developers through code reviews, pair programming sessions, and regular knowledge sharing workshops on modern web technologies and best practices. You will drive performance optimization and monitor frontend health such as error rates and user experience metrics in collaboration with the AIOps Engineer. You will maintain documentation of UI component libraries, design system guidelines, deployment recipes, and troubleshooting playbooks in the team knowledge base. You will partner with stakeholders including category managers, sourcing analysts, and buyers to gather UI/UX requirements, validate prototypes, and iterate quickly based on feedback. You will stay current on supply chain domain trends to embed relevant visualizations and interaction patterns.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Human Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Five or more years of professional experience with modern JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) and server side Node.js Express development.
- Proven ability to design data rich, accessible interfaces; experience with CSS in JS, design systems, and visualization libraries such as D3.js, Plotly, or Chart.js.
- Hands on experience containerizing web applications with Docker and authoring Helm charts or serverless deployment bundles for enterprise environments.
- Strong background building automated test suites (Jest, Cypress, Playwright) and integrating them into CI pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
- Demonstrated experience leading frontend development efforts, making architectural decisions, and communicating technical concepts to non technical stakeholders.
- Proven experience leading wire-framing sessions with business stakeholders, translating their needs into low-fidelity designs that guide UI development and set clear acceptance criteria.
- Strategic thinking combined with a hands on delivery mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholder engagement.
Desired Skills- Experience building UI layers for AI-driven products such as chat assistants or agentic systems (e.g., autonomous-agent interfaces).
- Knowledge of procurement domain concepts such as spend analytics, supplier risk scoring, and contract lifecycle management.
- History of coaching junior engineers, conducting thorough code reviews, and fostering a collaborative development culture.
Pay InformationGeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States. Locations are assigned a Geo Zone based on the primary work location of the role.
- Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 1): $150800.00 - $280000.00

- Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 2): $135700.00 - $251900.00

- Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 3): $120600.00 - $224000.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
