- 3-5 years of experience in web development technologies such as:
- Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- Possess a solid understanding of Agile principles.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) for both a technical and non-technical audience.
- Self-sufficient and self-motivated. Works mostly independently and requires limited day-to-day direction.
- Understands how to implement a solution from scratch, and what it takes to deliver an application from inception to production.
- Deals well with ambiguity when devising solutions, and asks good questions.
- Track record of successful delivery: strong understanding of best practices, few quality issues, and very little rework.
- Able to pick up work in new areas and teach yourself, and to judge which tool is best for the job.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science; A combination of education, training, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Preferred qualifications: - Experience with Nuxt or another server-side rendering framework.
- Experience building or integrating AI/LLM-powered features, such as semantic search, summarization, or retrieval-augmented generation.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tooling and how to use it responsibly.
- Experience with web performance, accessibility (WCAG), or SEO fundamentals in a high-traffic consumer-facing site.

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of the salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $82,400 to $103,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that are not included in the base pay.
What will you be doing? As a Full Stack Developer on the team, you will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and delivering quality software that is thoughtful and maintainable. Your primary focus will be developing new features leveraging JavaScript, NodeJS, and Vue.js. You will work mostly independently, taking solutions from scratch through to production, and you will partner closely with fellow developers, designers, and stakeholders to turn requirements into working software.
Responsibilities: - Build functional software and deliver technical solutions that meet or exceed stakeholder expectations using web and AI technologies.
- Ensure software and solutions scale well, are cost-effective, and adhere to software development best practices.
- Write thoughtful code that is maintainable and efficient, applying best practices so work ships with few quality issues and very little rework.
- Peer review the team's work and identify improvement opportunities, and contribute to technical discussions.
- Solve loosely defined problems self-sufficiently, asking good questions to close gaps and escalating blockers early.
- Interact directly with stakeholders to understand functional requirements and needs.
- Demo solutions, communicate status to stakeholders at all levels, and articulate how the work you are doing is adding value.
- Take features from scratch through to production, choosing the right tool for the job.
- Pick up work in unfamiliar areas of the stack and get yourself up to speed with minimal mentoring.
