General Description
We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web
applications that support our radiology operations, patient platforms, and internal tools. This role involves full
stack development with a focus on modern frameworks, cloud-native architectures, and integration with
healthcare data systems. The ideal candidate will bring experience similar to senior engineers who have
supported mission-critical government and enterprise applications, ensuring scalability, security, and
performance in a regulated environment.

Job Duties (Essential Functions)
• Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using modern technologies (frontend and backend).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions that
increase efficiency and lower operational costs.
• Design, implement, and optimize databases and APIs for imaging workflows, reporting, and integration
with radiology systems.
• Ensure all applications meet healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA, SOC II, security best practices)
and regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
• Implement and maintain integrations with third-party systems (PACS, RIS, billing, etc.).
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical architecture decisions.
• Support and train end-users on new features and systems.
• Monitor application performance and implement improvements for scalability and reliability.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend solutions that drive innovation and cost
savings.

Requirements
Physical Requirements
• Primarily sedentary role with extended periods of computer use.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally (e.g., computer equipment).
• Frequent use of keyboard, mouse, and multiple monitors.
• Must be able to travel occasionally between clinic locations in Anchorage, Eagle River, and Palmer if
needed.

Environmental Conditions / OSHA Category
Primarily office environment. OSHA Category II - Minimal exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
Essential Job Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or
equivalent experience).
• Experience: Minimum 4 years of full-stack development experience. Healthcare or radiology
experience preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in modern frontend (React, Vue, or Angular) and backend frameworks
(Node.js, .NET, Python/Django, etc.), relational databases (SQL), RESTful APIs, and cloud services
(AWS/Azure). Experience with HIPAA-compliant systems strongly preferred.
• Strong defense-in-depth approach to secure coding, including input validation, output encoding, least
privilege principles, and protection against OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
• Experience implementing layered security controls (authentication, authorization, encryption at
rest/transit, secure session management, and API security) in enterprise applications.
• Other Qualifications: Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, version control (Git),
and agile methodologies. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
