WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop, maintain, and improve full-stack web applications that support Caregiver and related platform capabilities.
- Design, build, and maintain REST APIs and services.
- Work with a variety of database technologies, including relational, time-series, and messaging-based systems.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and data scientists to design and deliver new product features.
- Improve internal tools, monitoring systems, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Contribute to the reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud-based systems.
- Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 4 years of professional experience in a software developer role.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.
- Strong proficiency in front-end development, particularly React.js.
- Hands-on experience designing and developing REST APIs.
- Experience working with Docker and Docker Compose.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, message brokers, and time-series databases.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest or Vitest.
- Experience using Git version control and working in Agile environments with tools such as JIRA.
- A team-oriented mindset, strong communication skills, and a willingness to take ownership and drive solutions forward.
BONUS POINTS FOR
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS and Kubernetes.
- Experience working with Python.
- Experience with large-scale IoT platforms using MQTT.
- Experience building products or platforms that support smart home, connected care, health technology, or large-scale device deployments.
