Position Description:

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to develop and support scalable full stack applications using Java, AWS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and Angular. The role involves AWS cloud and serverless development, REST API development, and participation across all phases of the software development lifecycle.

This is a hybrid position requiring attendance at our downtown Toronto and/or client office a minimum of 3 days per week, subject to change at any time.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Develop and support scalable full stack applications using Java, AWS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and Angular.
• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs using Swagger/OpenAPI standards.
• Lead projects from design through deployment, ensuring performance, scalability, and code quality.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Git and Agile methodologies.
• Participate in all phases of software development, including design, development, testing, and deployment.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 6+ years of hands-on Java Full Stack Development experience.
• 3+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Angular, AWS, RESTful APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI, CI/CD tools, and Git.
• Strong experience with Microservices, REST/JSON, Kafka, OAuth, and API integrations.
• Experience with cloud and DevOps technologies such as AWS Lambda, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, CDK, Fargate, GitHub, Bamboo, BitBucket, and Ansible.
• Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Nice to have -
• AWS Developer and/or AWS Solutions Architect certification.

**CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,000-$145,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
