Responsibilities- Perform senior-level systems analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of applications and databases.
- Develop and enhance complex applications and integrate third-party products and solutions.
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, maintainable code.
- Design, develop, test, debug, and support software applications using automated build, test, deployment, and quality practices.
- Deploy code to development, test, and production environments and provide ongoing production support.
- Submit and document change control requests and ensure compliance with established processes.
- Lead and participate in system design reviews, code reviews, and testing activities throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring solutions meet architecture, security, quality, and maintainability standards.
- Analyze and resolve complex technical issues and provide guidance on best practices.
- Mentor and support less experienced team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand business needs and deliver technology solutions that meet those needs.
- Communicate technical concepts and systems issues effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ensure compliance with Information Technology and Information Security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications- Minimum of 5 years of related work experience, including significant hands-on application development experience supporting complex enterprise applications.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and application architecture principles.
- Experience analyzing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise applications.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively across business and technology teams.
Required technical skills- Hands-on experience developing modern web applications using React and/or JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience designing and integrating REST APIs, microservices, and third-party solutions.
- Experience with Git, continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, automated testing, code scanning, and secure coding practices.
- Experience supporting enterprise applications in production, including monitoring, troubleshooting, performance, resiliency, and incident resolution.
- Working knowledge of relational databases, application architecture, and cloud or enterprise hosting environments.
Preferred technical skills- Experience with identity and access management technologies and standards, including single sign-on, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, or SAML.
- Experience applying AI-enabled engineering tools and practices to improve development speed, code quality, testing, and documentation.
