Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our exceptional team at a Marriott Tribute Collection hotel in Lake Placid, NY. This unique property combines boutique charm with modern elegance, catering to guests seeking a distinct and memorable stay. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a proven track record in hotel management, and an exceptional background in Food & Beverage (F&B) operations, as F&B is a key component of our guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including Rooms, F&B, Sales, Marketing, and Finance, to ensure profitability and operational excellence.
    • Develop and implement strategic business plans aligned with Marriott Tribute Collection standards and the hotel's unique positioning.
  • Food & Beverage Excellence:
    • Lead and innovate the F&B operations, including restaurants, bars, banquets, and room service, ensuring high-quality offerings and seamless guest experiences.
    • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and F&B team to craft creative menus, drive revenue, and maintain cost controls.
    • Cultivate a culture of service excellence and unique dining experiences that align with the Tribute Collection brand.
  • Guest Experience:
    • Foster a guest-centric culture by ensuring every guest interaction reflects the hotel's commitment to personalized service and unique experiences.
    • Regularly engage with guests to gather feedback and continuously improve operations.
  • Team Development:
    • Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing team across all departments.
    • Promote a culture of collaboration, empowerment, and growth within the organization.
  • Financial Performance:
    • Achieve or exceed financial targets, including GOP, RevPAR, and F&B profitability.
    • Develop and manage the hotel's budget, ensuring effective cost control and maximized revenues.
  • Community Engagement:
    • Represent the hotel in the Lake Placid community, cultivating relationships with local businesses, vendors, and stakeholders.
