Black Bear Lodge in Sautee, GA is currently recruiting a Full-time on-site Medical Director for their Adult Addiction Treatment Programs.

Position Overview:
  • Employment Type: Hospital Employed, on-site
  • Schedule / Hours: Monday-Friday on-site, full-time hours, shared call
  • Patient Volume: Varies by census
  • Location: Sautee, GA - Beautiful North Georgia Mountains
  • Practice Setting: The physician will see a diverse adult patient population with addiction/substance abuse and mental health issues in a mix of Detox, PHP/IOP and RTC settngs
  • Support / Care Team: Multidisciplinary with BC Psychiatrists, BH Techs, BH RN, NPs, Social Workers and Therapists
  • EMR / Technology: Tier (updating to new EMR in the fall)
  • Growth & Development: Advancement opportunities within an ever-growing organization.

Position Duties & Highlights:
  • Competitive compensation package with base salary plus comprehensive benefits
  • Duties will include admission evaluations and assessments, treatment team management, discharge and administrative duties as related to patient care.
  • Clinical Leadership Role with staff supervision and participation in executive administrative/clinical meetings as needed.

* Must be BC in Addiction Medicine or BC in General Psychiatry comfortable treating addiction/detox populations

* Active GA license and DEA are required or the ability to obtain.

* Prior leadership experience is preferred.
