About the Role/Team

The successful candidate will join a Quality Engineering leadership team focused on testing the FedLine4 Solutions. The manager would be responsible for leading a team of quality engineers and would be accountable for the quality of the applications in the assigned portfolio. The manager will have three or four Agile Teams and approximately 10 direct reports.

Key Activities
  • Partner with Product Owner, Development, Enterprise Architecture, and Infrastructure (NIT) organizations providing thought leadership in testing
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring for high performers, SDETS, and Test Architects while building a strong testing first culture.
  • Models and champions the Bank's values; is a steward of the Bank's strong culture and sets clear expectations for others.

Qualifications
  • Typically requires at least 6 years in a formal leadership role or relevant informal leadership experience.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of directly related education and/or work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of testing tools like LoadRunner, JMeter, Selenium, RestAssured, Playwright, Jira/Xray.
  • Experience and understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps concepts.
  • Experience and understanding of Cloud based architecture and technology.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, test automation frameworks, performance testing and performance engineering.

Salary:
  • $114,300-$162,800 / Manager Level
  • $136,600-$194,500 / Senior Manager Level
  • The listed salaries are applicable to the KC Fed. Final offers are determined by factors including the candidate's qualifications, internal alignment considerations, district assignment, and geographic location.


Citizenship Requirements: United States citizenship or lawful permanent resident alien status, with at least three or more years of United States residency from the date of legal entry to the United States is required for this position.

Screening Requirements: This position has additional screening requirements due to the information accessed while performing the job.
