Full Job Description
Role Purpose:

The Forward Deployed Fraud Strategist serves as a customer-facing Fraud and Identity subject matter expert across the entire customer lifecycle, operating as a forward-deployed consultant across pre-sales, onboarding, and ongoing expansion. In this role, you will partner directly with enterprise customers to design optimal product implementation strategies, evaluate risk profiles, and align Jumio's technical solutions with customer's unique business objectives.

The Fraud Strategist owns the critical onboarding mission for new deployments. Acting as a strategic advisor, you are directly responsible for driving efficient customer onboarding and rollout, and overcoming regulatory, legal, or operational hurdles to accelerate time-to-live and maximize time-to-value while ensuring solution adoption and long-term trust.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with new and existing Jumio customers to evaluate their risk profile and design tailored fraud strategies
  • Provide expert recommendations on risk mitigation, user friction, and verification workflow optimization
  • Lead the designing of standardized identity workflows within the Jumio product that are optimized for different verticals and use cases that can be quickly adopted by new customers
  • Orchestrate launch readiness by proactively identifying and resolving technical, regulatory, or policy-related bottlenecks to drive time-to-live and time-to-value
  • Advise customer risk and fraud teams on emerging fraud vectors and industry best practices
  • Validate completion of implementation milestones and success criteria, as well as confirming that the customer's integration aligns with Jumio best practices
  • Coordinate go-live planning, readiness reviews, and support go-live day execution

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience spanning fraud, identity, AML/KYC, digital risk, or a related field, including meaningful customer-facing experience in consulting, technical account management, solutions, professional services, product, or implementation.
  • Strong consultative, analytical, and strategic thinking abilities with a focus on risk strategy and workflow design
  • Project Management skills and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams from Product, Engineering, Legal/Compliance to deliver outcomes for Jumio customers
  • Ability to distill complex, technical fraud concepts into clear, value-driven narratives for executive stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with identity verification, fraud, compliance, fintech, or enterprise software solutions
  • Technical understanding of APIs, integrations, SaaS platforms, or implementation methodologies
  • Project management certification or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with global enterprise customers
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
