The RoleFarther's Finance team sits at the intersection of strategy and execution - turning data into decisions that shape how we grow. As our FP&A Manager, you'll own the financial planning engine: budgets, forecasts, models, and the stories that tie them together. You'll be a go-to partner for senior leadership, translating complex financials into clear, actionable insight and helping us make smarter bets as we scale.
Your Impact- Lead the annual budgeting process and quarterly reforecasts, coordinating inputs across every function in the business
- Build and own monthly management reporting packages - variance analysis, clear narratives, drivers vs. plan
- Develop dynamic financial models for long-range planning, scenario analysis, and business case evaluations
- Partner directly with business leaders to provide financial guidance, challenge assumptions, and support data-driven decisions
- Track KPIs and operating metrics, surfacing risks and opportunities to leadership before they become problems
- Own and continuously improve our financial planning infrastructure - tools, templates, and processes
- Support board and investor reporting, including prep materials and ad hoc analysis
- Collaborate with Accounting on the close process so actuals flow cleanly into reporting and forecast models
The Ideal Match- 5+ years in FP&A or a related finance role (investment banking, consulting, or corporate finance all count)
- You can build a three-statement model and a complex operating model from scratch - no templates needed
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial planning tools like Adaptive, Anaplan, Pigment, or similar
- You know how to turn a mountain of data into an exec-ready output without losing the story
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment where priorities shift and you adapt quickly
- Strong communicator - you can walk a non-finance audience through a complicated financial picture and make it land
Bonus Points- Background at a high-growth startup or financial services company
- Hands-on experience with Datarails for financial planning and reporting
- Familiarity with NetSuite or a comparable ERP
- CPA, CFA, or MBA are appreciated but not a requirement
