Key Responsibilities: - In the beginning it will be doing a lot of reporting and pulling reports to help support the current FP&A Manager. Troubleshooting any issues.
- Once they get more into the job it will be doing the forecasting, budgeting, etc.
- Working heavily with the commercial team. Will be working with sales on margin analysis, revenue, products etc.
- NEEDS a very confident person that can jump on leadership calls and explain reporting and tell the financial story. The role involves heavy collaboration.
- MUST HAVE PREVIOUS COMMERICAL FINANCE EXPERIENCE.
- Their Fiscal Year End is in March.
Job Description: The Manager US Commercial will have comprehensive oversight for the development of revenue forecasting, budgeting and analysis. This individual will be the sole point of contact for US revenue assumptions, channel insights, product insights, localized reporting, run rate analysis, etc. This role is also responsible for analyzing and providing insights regarding product margin performance and assessing management price impact on overall profitability. Manager will partner closely with US channel leaders to develop commercial assumptions.
Role will play core role with consolidating and loading budget and reforecast data into COGNOS. Additionally, role with partner with AODC Operations team to understand cost overhead, margin impact associated with production site.
As required this role will also provide detailed financial support for key commercial and business initiatives and will partner with management to drive prudent financial decision making.
Budgeting & Reforecasting Process • Responsible for partnering with sales organization to develop forward looking revenue assumptions (Product, Unit & ASP) for the budget and reforecast
• Develop product level margin forecasts to understand profitability changes corresponding with revenue outlook
• Act as single point of contact to consolidate all (P&L and CF) budget and reforecast assumptions and load them into COGNOS TM1 system for the US GC
• Partner with AODC Operations team to develop overhead cost assumptions & load them into COGNOS
Recurring Financial Analysis & Reporting • Investigate sales and product margin actual vs budget variances on a monthly basis and communicate findings to management in a clear and concise manner, suggesting opportunities for improvement as needed
• Assist sales and country leadership with assessing expected sales uplift with specific promotional opportunities (Run rate impacting)
• Provide detailed analysis on financial performance and relevant KPIs (Sales, Channel, Product Margin, Business Result) by leveraging insights from the business.
• Communicate complex financial findings/implications clearly and simply for consumption by non-financial management (generally via PowerPoint and Excel)
• Partner with Director FP&A, Controller, Senior Manager FP&A (and others) to correct any identified data integrity issues, particularly around SAP data
• Partner with the Controller of Operations to investigate variances and implement resolutions in line with the Company's Finance Reporting and Policy document (FRAP)
Business Partnership • Provide proactive, data driven recommendations to Finance & Business leadership to guide decision making process
• Drive the detailed analysis and execution of revenue driving initiatives for specific products and channels within the US
• Proactively seeks opportunities to improve business results and processes
• Serve as a business subject matter expert for various improvement projects (i.e. proposed SAP changes)
