Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end FP&A cycle including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
  • Deliver monthly performance reporting and variance analysis with action-driven recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for planning and decision-making.
  • Partner with the Global FP&A Director for alignment on global standards.
  • Analyze market performance using external data sources to connect trends to business performance.
  • Own and track brand and marketing investment budgets, assessing effectiveness.
  • Lead overhead expense budgeting and identify efficiency opportunities.

Your role:

Lipton Teas & Infusions is looking for a commercially minded FP&A and Strategic Initiatives Lead to drive financial planning, performance management, and strategic decision support for our North America business.

This role combines ownership of FP&A with direct responsibility for brand and marketing investment, overhead management, and cash planning. As a trusted business partner to senior leadership, you will turn financial data into actionable insights, influence key decisions, and help shape the company's growth and profitability agenda.

You will lead one FP&A Analyst and work closely with local and global stakeholders to ensure robust financial management, strong business performance, and execution of strategic priorities.

Your key responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Lead the end-to-end FP&A cycle, including annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
  • Deliver monthly performance reporting and variance analysis, providing clear, insight-driven recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support planning, scenario analysis, and decision-making.
  • Partner with the Global FP&A Director to ensure alignment with global reporting standards, processes, and timelines.
  • Analyze market and category performance using Nielsen, POS, and syndicated data sources, connecting external trends to business and brand performance.

Brand & Marketing Investment Management
  • Own the planning, tracking, and governance of brand and marketing investment budgets.
  • Partner with Marketing and Brand teams to assess investment opportunities and measure campaign effectiveness.
  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities, providing recommendations to optimize return on investment.

Overhead Cost Management
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring of overhead expenses.
  • Identify efficiency opportunities and work with functional leaders to drive accountability and cost discipline.
  • Provide clear reporting and variance analysis to support leadership decision-making.

Cash & Working Capital
  • Support cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
  • Partner with Treasury and Controllership teams on working capital and cash optimization initiatives.
  • Contribute to financial planning in a multi-currency operating environment.

Strategic Initiatives
  • Lead financial analysis and business case development for growth opportunities, cost-saving programs, and investment decisions.
  • Monitor initiative performance against financial objectives and provide regular updates to leadership.
  • Support strategic decision-making through robust analysis and actionable recommendations.

Team Leadership
  • Coach and develop the FP&A Analyst, fostering strong performance and professional growth.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, financial rigor, and proactive business partnering.


What we are looking for:

Experience & Qualifications
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or a related finance function.
  • Experience in a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) environment preferred.
  • Proven experience operating within a multinational, multi-currency organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.

Skills & Capabilities
  • Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI and Power Query.
  • Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools to enhance FP&A processes, reporting, and decision support.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP and planning/consolidation systems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging senior stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence business decisions through data-driven recommendations.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
