About the RoleThis is a founding-team product engineering role at a seed-stage construction AI startup, sitting on a small, impact-driven product team. You will shape and ship core features end-to-end, working directly with customers to bring AI-powered blueprint analysis and cost estimation tools to the people who build housing and infrastructure. The work is meaningful: faster, cheaper construction means more homes, hospitals, and schools.
What You'll Do- Own features fully, from weekly customer interviews through to production delivery the following week.
- Build UIs that make complex blueprint and hardware data feel intuitive for users coming from paper-based workflows.
- Contribute across the stack, working on a React frontend and a Python backend and infrastructure.
- Architect and build new product capabilities from zero, taking ideas from concept to production.
- Translate messy domain knowledge gathered from customers into clear, well-scoped product decisions.
- Shape product direction alongside the team, not just implementation details.
- Handle the operational and logistical work that keeps an early-stage startup moving.
What We're Looking For- Demonstrated ability to ship full-stack features using React on the frontend and Python on the backend; all experience levels considered, including recent graduates.
- A track record of owning features end-to-end, from customer discovery through production delivery.
- Strong product taste and user-focused design sensibility.
- Experience or clear aptitude for 0-to-1 architecture and product building.
- Excellent communication skills, a growth mindset, and comfort with rapid iteration.
- Genuine motivation to make housing and infrastructure more affordable, not just to maximise compensation.
- Bonus: previously built a product that people used or paid for (as a founder or early startup employee).
- Bonus: construction, blueprint, or estimation domain experience or a clear interest in the industry.
- Bonus: experience applying AI or computer vision to construction workflows.
- US work authorization required; visa sponsorship is not available.

$120,000 to $180,000 USD annually. Equity participation is expected at this stage. Visa sponsorship is not available.
