ObjectiveSeeking a hands-on Founding Infrastructure Engineer to build and own the company's cloud infrastructure, DevOps, security, deployment, and production reliability from day one. This is a startup leadership role requiring end-to-end ownership of AI infrastructure, customer deployments, and scalable cloud systems.
Must-Have Requirements- 5+ years of infrastructure, DevOps, backend, or platform engineering experience.
- Prior startup experience building and operating production cloud environments.
- Strong experience with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, deployment automation, and production operations.
- Expertise with PostgreSQL, Redis, authentication/authorization, and distributed systems.
- Proficient in Python and TypeScript; React/full-stack experience is a plus.
- Experience improving system reliability, observability, monitoring, backup/recovery, and incident response.
- Familiarity with SOC 2/security compliance and enterprise deployment architectures.
- Experience deploying AI applications or AI agents into production.
- Comfortable working directly with customers and owning technical decisions.
- Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments with high ownership.
Preferred Traits- Strong problem solver who can balance infrastructure, backend engineering, and customer-facing work.
- Comfortable using AI coding tools to accelerate development while understanding their limitations.
- Self-starter with excellent prioritization and execution skills.
