Job Description

Your Impact as a Founding DVM Partner

This is more than a leadership role; it's an opportunity to build and lead a practice with the full backing of an established network. As the Founding Partner & Lead Veterinarian, you will be the cornerstone of the hospital, responsible for establishing a gold-standard medical culture, mentoring your team, and driving the business's success as a true owner. You'll have the rare opportunity to build a hospital where demand for convenient, high-quality veterinary care including urgent care with extended hours is backed by a dense, high-income, pet-forward community in the heart of Denver.
  • Build a Thriving Practice Culture: You will be the architect of a client-first, collaborative culture, setting the tone for medical excellence and teamwork from day one. In a community defined by highly educated professionals and devoted pet owners, your standard of care will set Livewell Denver apart from day one.
  • Lead and Mentor Your Medical Team: Recruit, onboard, and develop a high-performing team of veterinarians and support staff building a hospital culture that attracts top talent and delivers outstanding urgent care to pet owners across Denver and the neighborhoods surrounding the Colorado Boulevard corridor, including a team that covers extended hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Drive Medical and Surgical Excellence: Establish the hospital's standard of care, ensuring every patient receives exceptional medicine from urgent case workups and in-house diagnostics to surgery while mentoring your team in general surgery, dentistry, and evidence-based clinical decision-making. You'll build a reputation as the trusted veterinary destination for pets across greater Denver.
  • Lead Urgent Care Medicine and Surgery: As a full-service urgent care hospital, Livewell Denver's veterinarians work up cases and perform surgery on site. You'll set the standards for urgent case triage, diagnostics, and surgical care, and help build the extended-hours schedule for evenings, weekends, and holidays that keep the hospital there for pets when they need it most.
  • Partner in Business Ownership: Work directly with your Hospital Manager to manage the hospital's financial performance, making strategic decisions that drive top-line revenue growth and position the hospital as a long-term community resource.
  • Shape the Future of Veterinary Care in Denver: Help establish a purpose-built hospital designed to meet the needs of today's pet owners. With an end-cap location on Colorado Boulevard Denver's main retail corridor, carrying more than 53,000 vehicles per day 39 shared parking spaces, and high-profile signage available facing Colorado Boulevard, you'll have the platform to build something that lasts.
