Requirements
Must-Have
0-3 years of engineering experience (open to recent grads with exceptional signal)
Builder mentality demonstrated through side projects, personal builds, or evidence of shipping outside of day-job scope
Backend foundation with comfort across ML and traditional system design
High agency and high slope: figures things out quickly, ships fast, talks to humans well
SF in-person, willing to grind in a startup environment
Nice-to-Have
Recommendation system, ranking, or ad-experience background
PyTorch fluency
Prior experience at Roblox, Meta, Amazon, or comparable consumer/ad infra companies
Open-source contributions or notable GitHub presence
