About the RoleThis is a Founding Engineer opportunity at an early-stage startup in San Francisco, where you'll be one of the first engineers shaping the product from the ground up. You'll work in a small, high-ownership team where your technical decisions and product instincts will have an outsized impact on the company's trajectory.
What You'll Do- Build and own end-to-end product features across the full stack, from initial concept through to production.
- Contribute meaningfully to product direction, working closely with founders and early team members.
- Make foundational architecture decisions that will scale with the company.
- Move fast in a 0-to-1 environment, iterating on ideas and shipping with a high degree of autonomy.
What We're Looking For- 3-7 years of full-stack software development experience.
- Proven experience building products end-to-end at an early-stage startup, ideally in a 0-to-1 context.
- Comfortable owning both frontend and backend development.
- Strong product sense and the ability to influence product direction, not just execute on specs.
- Strong CS fundamentals, ideally from a rigorous academic program.
- Based in San Francisco, CA, or willing to relocate.
- Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Prior experience at a high-growth startup or large-scale technology company is a plus.
Compensation & BenefitsSalary range:
$200,000 - $300,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
