Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Forward Deployed Transformation Senior Consultant serves as a senior strategic partner embedded within assigned clinical, operational, research, and administrative areas across Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Working in close collaboration with executive, physician, operational, and departmental leaders, this role leads complex transformation initiatives that advance through operational and strategic transformation initiatives that improve costeffectiveness, efficiency, productivity, and financial performance. The Senior Consultant develops deep knowledge of assigned business areas and serves as a trusted advisor to leadership teams, helping identify opportunities, define strategic priorities, and execute initiatives that drive measurable results. Through an embedded partnership model, the Senior Consultant translates enterprise objectives into sustainable operational, digital and organizational improvements.
This position leads high-impact transformation efforts requiring advanced analytical, facilitation, project leadership, and change management capabilities. The Senior Consultant applies operational improvement methodologies, data-driven insights, innovation practices, and emerging technologies to address complex organizational challenges and accelerate achievement of CHLA's strategic goals. In addition to leading transformation initiatives, the Senior Consultant provides mentorship and guidance to consultants and project teams while helping identify opportunities to scale successful practices across the organization.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: Required:- 4 years of experience in healthcare operations, consulting, business analysis, performance improvement, project management, finance, analytics, or related field.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working on cross-functional projects or initiatives.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, data analysis tools, and presentation development.
Preferred:- Healthcare consulting, healthcare operations, or hospital experience.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, CAPM, PMP, Agile or other improvement/project management certification.
- Experience developing executive presentations and business cases.
- Familiarity with healthcare performance metrics, financial management, and operational improvement methodologies.
Education/Licensure/Certifications: Required:- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or related field.
Preferred:- Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field.
Pay Scale Information $111,862.40-$149,136.00CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates who meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates who exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
