We are currently seeking a Forward-Deployed Engineer (FDE) - Insurance to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

NTT DATA is seeking a Forward-Deployed Engineer (FDE) - AI Products to lead the implementation, deployment, and operationalization of NTT DATA's AI-powered products within customer environments. This role is responsible for ensuring successful adoption of industry-specific AI solutions by translating customer requirements into configured, deployed, and production-ready implementations.

The ideal candidate combines product implementation expertise, customer-facing consulting skills, and strong technical capabilities across cloud, AI, and platform technologies within Insurance environments. Working closely with customer stakeholders, product teams, solution architects, and engineers, this individual will lead engagements from discovery through production deployment, configuring platform capabilities, integrating customer systems, enabling business users, and driving measurable business outcomes. The FDE serves as a trusted advisor throughout the implementation lifecycle while providing feedback that helps improve product capabilities and accelerate future deployments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end implementation of AI products within customer environments, including discovery, design, configuration, deployment, user adoption, and optimization activities.
  • Partner with customer stakeholders to understand business objectives, operational processes, challenges, and success criteria.
  • Translate customer business requirements, workflows, and operating procedures into platform configurations, business rules, integrations, and AI-enabled workflows.
  • Configure and deploy product capabilities, including workflows, connectors, business rules, extraction models, and customer-specific settings.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, architecture, and customer teams to ensure implementations align with business requirements and technical standards.
  • Deploy and support AI product solutions within cloud and customer-hosted environments using established deployment and operational processes.
  • Integrate products with customer applications, data sources, APIs, identity platforms, and enterprise systems.
  • Conduct implementation workshops, design reviews, user training sessions, and solution demonstrations with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Monitor implementation performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements to optimize adoption, scalability, and operational outcomes.
  • Document solution configurations, implementation approaches, deployment procedures, and operational best practices.
  • Provide structured feedback to product and engineering teams regarding customer requirements, enhancement opportunities, recurring implementation patterns, and product improvement recommendations.
  • Contribute reusable assets, implementation playbooks, configuration templates, and deployment methodologies that improve delivery consistency and scalability.


Basic Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in software engineering, solution engineering, implementation consulting, platform engineering, DevOps, customer engineering, or a related technology role.
  • 2+ years of experience implementing, configuring, deploying, or supporting enterprise software products, SaaS platforms, AI solutions, or cloud-based applications within Insurance customer environments.
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with customers in a consulting, implementation, solution delivery, or technical advisory capacity.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), application integration, APIs, containerized applications, or deployment automation technologies in a production environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.


NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this remote role is $201,015.00-$367,250.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
