Sompo has a unique opportunity for a Forms Analyst in our Insurance Operations team.

The Forms Analyst will support the Forms and Operations Teams which promotes company compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements by handling and/or coordinating tasks needed to assure the company's policy writing system Guidewire Policy Center (hereinafter referred to as "System") accurately reflects the Company business requirements for a number of lines of business including but not limited to Property, Casualty, Financial Lines, Inland Marine and Ocean Marine. While the role primarily will support Canadian commercial insurance, it may support US based business as well.

What you'll be doing:

• Ensure timely and accurate system updates for existing products under the direction of a manager or senior analyst.
• Prepare IT business output templates in compliance with regulatory requirements and the Company Style Guide for policy forms and endorsements.
• Gather business requirements from Product Development, Legal, Underwriting, Operations, Compliance, and other stakeholders.
• Support IT Business System Analysts, Development, and Quality Assurance teams with implementation of submitted changes.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing, including test case data entry and policy output comparison between systems, to confirm compliance with business requirements.
• Log and track Fresh Service tickets for defects or change requests, prepare status reports and metrics, and maintain departmental documentation of system requests.

What you'll bring:

• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrate urgency, attention to detail, and follow-through to resolve issues successfully.
• Manage multiple initiatives effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Understand upstream and downstream insurance operations processes, with 3-5 years of industry experience in Underwriting or Operations and working knowledge of SDLC.
• Apply strong analytical and organizational skills, with some college education or equivalent industry experience.
• Use Microsoft products proficiently; SharePoint, advanced Excel, Guidewire PolicyCenter experience, and knowledge of the Property & Casualty regulatory landscape are preferred.

Salary Range: $77,000 - $93,000. Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including the cost of living associated with your work location, your qualifications, skills, competencies, and relevant experience.
