Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an experienced Forensics Analysis Lead to lead a team of cyber forensics professionals delivering high-impact analysis in support of critical mission objectives. This is an opportunity to combine hands-on cyber forensics knowledge with leadership, mentorship, and process improvement in an environment where technical excellence and mission success go hand in hand.

In this role, you will lead a team responsible for performing host-based forensic analysis across a range of operating systems, identifying and interpreting key forensic artifacts, and producing high-quality technical reporting to support customer objectives. You will help ensure the team applies sound forensic methodology, maintains technical rigor, and adapts as new tools, technologies, and tradecraft emerge. Your leadership will be essential in driving consistency, quality, and mission impact across the team's forensic efforts.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of deep technical expertise and people leadership. You will work closely with a highly capable team of cyber forensics analysts, providing day-to-day leadership, mentorship, and support while helping team members grow their skills and advance their careers. You'll also play an important role in shaping processes, improving analysis workflows, and identifying opportunities to enhance technical performance over time.

  • Lead a team performing advanced cyber forensics analysis in support of customer mission requirements
  • Oversee host-based forensic analysis across multiple operating systems and environments
  • Guide the identification, collection, examination, and interpretation of forensic artifacts
  • Ensure the team produces clear, accurate, and actionable technical reports on forensic findings
  • Mentor analysts and foster continued technical development and career growth across the team
  • Promote forensics best practices, technical rigor, and continuous process improvement
  • Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies to strengthen forensic capabilities
  • Partner with technical leadership and stakeholders to ensure high-quality analysis and mission success
  • Help develop a collaborative, high-performing team culture centered on excellence and innovation


What Required Skills You'll Bring
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • GCFE or equivalent cyber forensics certification
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience conducting host-based forensic examinations across Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems
  • 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role, responsible for managing a team of forensic analysts, assigning cases, and performing technical peer review of forensic reports
  • Demonstrated experience within the last three years supporting a laboratory accredited under ISO/IEC 17025, including SOP development, internal audits, and quality assurance procedures
  • Strong understanding of digital forensic methodologies, investigative techniques, and reporting standards
  • Ability to lead technical teams in a dynamic cybersecurity environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Salary Range: $134,100.00 - $241,400.00
