Job Summary:We are currently seeking experienced Construction and Plumbing Foremen to support our commercial and project-based mechanical operations. This role involves leadership on job sites, overseeing plumbing installations and retrofits, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable codes and standards. Work can include leading teams in remote northern projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and supervise plumbing crews on-site, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to project schedules.
- Interpret and work from mechanical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, drainage systems, plumbing fixtures, and associated mechanical equipment.
- Perform hydronic system retrofits (boilers, pumps), chiller and heat pump replacements, and air handler installations.
- Size and install natural gas distribution systems per code.
- Coordinate work with subcontractors, consultants, and other trades.
- Enforce and maintain safety protocols and company policies.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications:- Red Seal Certificationin Plumbing or Steam fitting.
- ValidGas B Ticket(minimum requirement).
- Minimum2 years of experiencein a Foreman or supervisory role.
- Proven experience managingprime contractor projectsand working withmultiple trades.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, industry standards, and local codes.
- ValidABDriver's Licensewith a clean driving record.
- Ability to manage and mentor journeypersons and apprentices.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials and equipment as required.
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
- Willing to work shifts in remote locations
The pay range is $55 to $62 per hour. The compensation for this position is as per the collective agreement.
