Full Job Description
The SLA Analysis Group's mission is to deliver objective analyses, plans and strategies to US Navy, US Marine Corps, USAF, other DoD, and Australian Defence Force clients to support technology development, acquisition, delivery and sustainment decisions. The group provides the core of SPA thought leadership on Undersea Strategy, Software Development and Cost Estimating, with additional benchmark capabilities in AI/ML & Decision Analytics, Modeling and Simulation, and Future Force Assessments. #MC SPA has a near-term need for an experienced practitioner in foreign clearance procedures and systems to support our customer in Arlington, VA. Responsibilities The Foreign Clearance Expert will provide guidance and recommendations to the Government team on all FC requirements, ensuring the DoD's FC program is in compliance with Government policies. The FC program provides information to users on aviation-related requirements, personnel visa requirements, customs requirements, and other related issues. Work entails understanding FC background issues and recent developments, monitoring FC IT systems, gathering and evaluating inputs/updates, coordinating with other USG agencies and foreign militaries, and shepherding policy changes and issues as they relate to the above. Qualifications Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree and 7 years' experience with FC systems and procedures • Recent experience using and managing FC procedures, systems, and coordination • Recent experience coordinating DoD entry and overflight issues for DoD personnel, weapons systems, supplies, and munitions • Expertise in international sovereignty and related customs issues • Recent expertise managing complex policy, IT, and compliance projects • US Citizenship Desired Qualifications • 10 years' experience with FC systems and procedures • Secret clearance Pay Range Information At SPA, we strive to deliver a robust total compensation package that will attract and retain top talent.
