2+ years of experience as a Service Technician preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required; ASE Certification mandatory
B level qualifications including expertise in Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
Strong dexterity and hand-eye coordination necessary
Proficient mechanical and troubleshooting skills with electronic diagnostic tools
Excellent customer service skills; basic computer skills required
Positive attitude and eagerness to improve; ability to work in dynamic settings
Team player with effective collaboration skills
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and service procedures
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Responsibilities
Perform repairs as specified on repair orders efficiently according to dealership standards
Conduct test drives and diagnostics on vehicle components and systems using specialized tools
Diagnose and repair vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, and more
Communicate with Service Advisors regarding customer service needs and additional repair estimates
Carry out warranty repairs in line with manufacturer specifications.

The Technician Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $33.80 and $50.00.

Responsibilities
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications
2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
