  • Starting Wage: $66,044.00 - $94,349.00 + annual bonus

Job Responsibilities:
  • This person will lead strategic business initiatives in their business and the F&B division as required.
  • This person will collaborate on business, concept, and product development in conjunction with the F&B Senior Manager.
  • This person will collaborate on and develop capital and growth initiatives through the capital planning process with WB F&B Senior Manager.
  • This person will lead the talent development, succession, performance evaluation, performance management, and on-going performance feedback for a team of reports that includes both leaders and employees .
  • This person will lead and verify Safety and Food Safety plans and initiatives that deliver at the high standard that reflects the values of Vail Resorts and as required by law/regulation.
  • This person will be accountable for COS issues and be able to offer solutions to these issues.
  • This person will review and communicate weekly financial reports; knows how to drive performance in contribution, labor and COS.
  • This person will lead labour management and follow up on scheduling & labor management issues and will offer direction and prompt solutions to these issues.
  • This person is a steward of the environment and takes ownership of WB and Vail Resorts Zero Waste initiatives providing company-wide leadership for the network.
  • This person delivers guest service that reflects industry leading standards for the international restaurant industry and reflect the high expectations of Vail Resorts guests.
  • This person will support and develop partner and strategic alliance relationships in their business
  • This person will implement and act on Customer Satisfaction Metrics (Mystery Shopper and GX) to evaluate and optimize Net Promoter results against established targets, and communicates to recognize results, re-enforce consistent standards and to reflect best practices company-wide.
  • This person recognizes, captures, enhances and carries the collective energy that exists in their business unit around operations and or ideas from the planning stage to the execution stage and recognizes staff on the spot for exemplifying this behaviour and is empathetic to their personal needs.
  • This person views all aspects of their business unit through the eyes of a guest and deals with cleanliness that contravenes basic standards. Is unable to walk by garbage, unsightly areas, and uniforms or objects without providing or arranging immediate needed attention. Coaches others around to do the same. Assumes ownership of their business unit's equipment as if it were their own.
  • Strict compliance to Food Safe 2 and HACCP regulations is a non-negotiable.

Job Requirements:
  • 2-5 years high Restaurant Managerial experience
  • Event promotion, production and management experience
  • 3-5 years supervising staff.
  • Post secondary education in Hospitality or Business management or related field an asset
  • Food Safe Level 2.
  • Must have B.C. Serving it Right http://www.servingitright.com/index.html
  • Previous experience or personal interest in ski/snowboard culture.
  • Employment in this position is conditional upon the satisfactory completion of Background and/or criminal record checks.
