Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer or Aerospace Engineering, or Computer Science
• 7+ years of systems engineering experience with safety-critical embedded avionics systems
• 5+ years of specific experience in FMS systems engineering
• Proven ability to author and modify system requirements
• Experience in integrated lab environments for issue investigation and testing
• Background in FMS system integration and verification testing
• Proficient in analyzing internal and in-service problem reports
• Ability to assess software fixes for problem reports
• Familiarity with the DO-178 Software Development Life Cycle
• Expertise in updating DO-178 Certification Documents

Responsibilities

• Assist the team in the systems verification of FMS problem report fixes
• Conduct testing to ensure problem report resolutions meet safety and performance standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate FMS systems effectively
• Analyze and verify the applicability of software fixes
• Prepare documentation and updates for DO-178 Certification
• Investigate issues within integrated lab settings
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders
