Role Overview
Are you ready to help financial institutions, sovereigns, and other market participants achieve their most important goals? Join our team to help clients by contributing as part of cross-functional teams. Responsibilities span the entire client engagement lifecycle from pitches to daily execution to delivery of analyses.
You will identify and address client objectives through the delivery of meaningful work, while also contributing to the growth of commercial and strategic client opportunities. FMA is the delivery mechanism for many of BlackRock’s most complex cross-firm initiatives, and you will collaborate closely with business divisions across the firm globally to leverage BlackRock’s platform for our clients.
This position offers the opportunity to develop skills in engagement management, critical thinking, analytics, leadership, and relationship building. You will gain exposure to financial institutions' priorities, capital markets, risk and regulation, and other topics.
We are looking for candidates who are adept at collaborating within a team environment, while also being capable in working independentlywith reasonable oversight and escalation. You will work closely together with project team members to effectively present analyses and connect with senior leaders within clients and across BlackRock. Team members receive training and mentorship from colleagues, empowering them to drive workstreams within a broader project context.
We stay abreast of capital market and broader financial institutions trends to understand their impact on client opportunities. Our team drives the expansion of firm capabilities and deepens the firm’s connectivity with clients.
Qualifications and Key Skills
- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant consulting and / or financial services experience
- Intellectually curious and initiative taker
- Comfort working alongside a broader team across seniority levels as well as operating with sufficient independence; exhibit excellent leadership and organizational capabilities
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities; able to synthesize complex concepts to bolster findings and recommendations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving proficiency
- Comfort with a fast-paced and dynamic environment
For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$116,000.00 - USD$155,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.

Our hybrid work model
BlackRock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all. Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week.
