About the Position

We're looking to hire a Floor Trader to join our expanding team on the CBOE (Chicago Board Options Exchange). After completing our comprehensive new-grad training program and working closely with experienced traders, this individual will transition to the trading floor, operating in an open outcry environment as part of a collaborative team using our proprietary pricing strategies. The ideal candidate is competitive, driven, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for verbally executing trades and building out our floor footprint
  • Communicate effectively with our traders upstairs and other floor traders
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with floor brokers

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to make quick decisions under stressful situations with incomplete information
  • Outgoing and easy to get along with
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task
  • Good Risk management skills
  • Desire to win and constantly improve

Base Salary Range

$80,000 - $100,000 - Salaries are based on numerous factors such as skills, experience, and education. Our compensation package also includes a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits program for full-time employees. For more information, reach out to your recruiter.
