Job Description
• Works independently or leads a team to execute project, schedule, and technical requirements to meet the goals of the test program.
• Responsible for specification, selection, design, integration, operation and maintenance of airborne data acquisition systems, and their related components. This includes telemetry, flight test specific hardware, or prototypes for flight test evaluation.
• Responsible for mechanical build, installation, and aircraft structure modification designs.
• Responsible for electrical designs and schematics to include power supplies, signal conditioning, amplification, heating, and cooling provisions.
• Oversee installation, checkout, and calibration of data systems, to ensure collected data can be properly displayed, processed, and analyzed.
• Support occasional travel

Basic Qualifications
• BS in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Computer Science degrees or equivalent experience.
• Technical background in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with 3-D Computer Aided design (CAD) tools/drafting software
Desired skills
• Previous experience with Curtis Wright, Safran, or similar instrumentation hardware
• Signal conditioning, transducers, and data acquisition
• Analog & digital circuit design and analysis
• Electrical design
• Mechanical design
• Flight test instrumentation operations
• IRIG 106 Telemetry Standards
• Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, function generation, network analyzer, and multi-meter use
• Technical team lead experience
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement
