Qualifications

• 3+ years of RN experience in Emergency or Adult Critical Care settings.
• Valid RN license in the relevant states.
• EMT & Trauma Certifications where required by state.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications mandatory before starting flight duties.
• CFRN certification to be acquired within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess situations to decide on actions for monitoring and treating patients in critical condition.
• Utilize critical thinking to support care for both adult and pediatric patients under physician orders.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and equipped aircraft by performing regular checks and adhering to safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with air and ground teams, dispatch, and medical facilities.
• Share handoff information with incoming team members and maintain accurate documentation.
• Maintain required certifications and training for flight nurse responsibilities (ongoing).
• Exhibit professionalism and reliability while meeting high standards of safety and service.
