Job Description:
Serves as a facility provider resource and role model in the use of clinical information systems, maintaining thorough knowledge of the computer system and various applications. Rounds with providers during care delivery to assess functionality, impact on workflow, analyze and anticipate user needs, and document requests. Analyzes requirements to propose effective solutions and identifies opportunities for improvement and automation. Researches, validates, and logs provider Electronic Medical Record (EMR) enhancement requests, discusses recommended solutions with provider and operational teams, and obtains operational design approval. Conducts multiple annual IT outreach touchpoints with medical staff members, shares application tips to improve workflow efficiency, and guides best practices. Assists customers with the customization of the application using application tools within the electronic health record foundation. Provides education on new applications or functionality, conducts provider orientations, train-the-trainer sessions, service line expert training, upgrades, and other training as needed. Executes change management strategies, including communication, buy-in, training, and technical support, to enable smooth implementation of new application changes and enhancements. Provides go-live support and post-go-live optimization at local sites and other facilities, with readiness to work evenings, nights, and weekends to fully support operations. Develops, implements, maintains, and optimizes health information technology training materials based on current clinical practice and workflow. Provides 24/7 on-call support for providers and extenders, with the ability to travel nationally to support major implementations at other facilities. Communicates changes to applications in line with agreed SOPs and work instructions, document and articulate technical specifications, and provide input to standards, policies, and procedures. Pay Range:
$32.16 - $56.28
