Job SummaryMarriott International is seeking a
FLEX Manager, Procurement Intake to serve as the primary entry point for all Procurement engagement requests. This role is responsible for reviewing, assessing, and routing incoming requests across category management, contracting, and Procurement Operations teams.
The Procurement Intake Manager plays a critical role in delivering a seamless and positive associate experience by ensuring requests are accurately categorized, prioritized, and assigned to the appropriate teams and resources. This role directly enables improved cycle times, increased efficiency, and stronger outcomes in savings delivery and contract execution.
Required Experiences- Experience working in procurement, sourcing, contracting, or a related function
- Experience supporting enterprise workflows, intake processes, or shared services environments
- Customer service or stakeholder management experience in a corporate or operations setting
- Experience with procurement or workflow tools (e.g., Coupa, ServiceNow, intake/orchestration platforms) preferred
Key Responsibilities- Intake Management & Request Routing
- Serve as the central intake point for all Procurement engagement requests (sourcing, contracting, supplier onboarding, advisory)
- Review and assess incoming requests for completeness, urgency, and business impact
- Accurately route requests to the appropriate category management, contracting, or operations teams based on defined criteria
- Ensure requests are assigned to the correct team members with appropriate prioritization
- Associate Experience & Engagement
- Provide a high-quality, responsive experience for associates engaging Procurement
- Act as a liaison between requestors and Procurement teams to clarify requirements and next steps
- Ensure clear communication and transparency on request status, ownership, and expected timelines
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Partner with Category Management, Contracting, Finance, and Operations teams to align on routing logic and priorities
- Support onboarding of new intake channels, tools, and processes (e.g., web portal, orchestration solutions)
- Escalate high-priority or complex requests as needed to ensure timely resolution
