In this position, you will be responsible for managing VCES heavy equipment, which include maintaining the processing of heavy equipment orders, recording the company's scheduled deliveries and FID status of received equipment, and effectively manages within the established budget.

  • Work safely at all times. Adhere to all VCES safety guidelines, policies, and practices.


Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Maintains fleet records that can include historical data of maintenance operations, inventory management and administrative considerations.
  • Oversees related trade standards, vendor agreement considerations and warranty administration.
  • Develop and maintain regional reports and or reporting platforms.
  • Procures the issuance of PO'S for sales.
  • Develop and follow up business KPI's.
  • Identify and development of process improvements utilizing technology, data analysis to support the enterprise.
  • Reconciles order and creates document notes in Quipware.
  • Facilitating the delivery and receipt of equipment and conducts physical inventory verification.
  • Manages and reconciles the fleet accounting process including credits and debits in Quipware systems.
  • Administers the equipment warranty certification process that includes Volvo Warranty and EPG.
  • Designs reports and queries, and uses resulting data extracted to improve fleet operations and decision making.
  • Confirms the readiness status of idle equipment for rentals or sales.
  • Participates in the equipment evaluation process to determine replacement needs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience, Education, and Professional Qualifications Required for the Position:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with a minimum of 3-5 years related experience in service, parts, or product support operations.
  • Knowledge of experience in distribution-based business (preferably in the Construction Equipment Industry).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Additional Important Requirements:
  • Fluent in English (written & spoken) Bilingual is a plus.
  • Travel required as necessary within the VCES-CA territory.
  • Works with others in a team / office environment.
  • Must have strong human relations skills and the ability to work with people from all backgrounds and cultures, internally and externally, with appropriate influence and ability to resolve complex business issues.
  • Able to perform duties effectively in a fast-paced environment whether working autonomously or under direction.
  • Able to make autonomous decisions based on business situations within the scope of the established authorization directives.

At the Volvo Group, we strive for a clear, transparent, and straightforward compensation approach, motivating you to contribute to the company's growth. For this position, the base salary range is set at $72,600 - $89,700, and where applicable, bonus eligible. The range for this role, as well as final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
