- Associate degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training with a minimum two years automotive industry experience.
- Experience supervising employees to include duties associated with recruitment and selection, coaching, training, evaluating performance, and performing corrective action.
- Experience gathering data and to analyze complex vehicle reports to make decisions on best use of vehicles (i.e. purchasing, disposition, assignments, replacements, etc.).
- Experience in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word, to effectively operate a personal computer, to perform word processing, data entry, general typing, manage database, email, calendaring, and spreadsheet development. Experience in a call center, dispatch, or similar environment.
- Skill to organize work effectively to achieve timely progress on multiple simultaneous projects, distribute effort appropriately among projects, meet deadlines and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Skill to independently identify and rectify discrepancies in Fleet Services fuel management systems and vehicle billing.
- Interpersonal and communication skills to clearly and effectively interact with a diverse group of individuals; secure and/or provide information to clarify situations, resolve problems, negotiate services and/or agreements with other departments or external agencies.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience using reservation programs and dispatching vehicles.
- Skill to operate Fleet Services specialized fleet management information system with emphasis in the areas of fuel and asset management.
- Knowledge of Kuali and use of applicable policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of Fleet Maintenance Information Systems (FMIS) and the ability to learn new FMIS. Ability to update vehicle records in FMIS.
