Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited educational institution in Business or Public Administration or a related field.
  • Six years' experience in fleet management, which includes five years of managerial experience.
  • Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or job-related experience which meets the minimum qualifications may be substituted.
Licensing, Certifications and Other Requirements
  • Must possess and maintain throughout tenure of position, a recognized Fleet professional certification such as Certified Automotive Fleet Manager or Certified Public Fleet Professional at time of hire or promotion.
  • Every person employed by the City of Scottsdale shall reside in the State of Arizona during his or her active employment by the City, regardless of whether the employee is approved to remote work.
Other pertinent licenses and/or certification may be required of some positions depending on department/service assignment.
