First Line Manufacturing Manager
Boeing Commercial Airplanes(BCA) is seeking a First Line Manufacturing Manager (Level K) to join our Electrical Systems Responsibility Center (ESRC) located in Everett, Washington on 2nd Shift.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines
- Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies
- Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Manages, develops and motivates employees
Boeing First-Line Leader Assessment: To be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process. Failure to complete the assessment will remove you from consideration.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- 3+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing operations and/or manufacturing support
- 1+ years of experience advising and influencing managers or non-managers to meet organizational goals
- Ability to optimize organizational structure and operating rhythm to meet strategic goals
- Ability to work any shift based on the needs of the operation
- A minimum of 1 leadership experience (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross function project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership"
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience in lean processes and initiatives
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership role leading inclusive teams, initiatives and projects to meet business objectives, collaborating cross functionally and influencing positive change
