Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Engineering Field; Fire Protection or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Fire Protection Engineering.
• Preferred experience in Electrical and/or I&C systems.
• Desired prior plant system engineering experience with electrical and I&C components.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, capable of making formal technical presentations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Fire Protection Engineer supporting plant evaluations and changes.
• Act as a design qualified engineer in Electrical or I&C systems for plant design changes.
• Provide solutions for problem solving, decision making, and troubleshooting.
• Prepare technical engineering products, including reports and design changes.
• Develop and complete investigations and corrective actions per the Corrective Action Program.
• Perform field walk-downs and collaborate with other groups to resolve plant issues.
• Review schedules and maintenance work orders for efficient implementation.
